My name is Marie-Claire or to my Spanish speaking friends Maria-Clara, thank you for visiting our website!
I’m excited that you’d like to join our Spanish for Beginners online class. The classes run from time to time (at the time of writing they’re on Wednesday afternoons at 1.30pm New Zealand time).
If you miss the beginning of the course you’re still welcome to jump in and I’ll make sure that you learn things for your level and catch you up with any other students. If you’re more advanced and are looking at a refresher or some more advanced language work I can cater to that too.
Before making any payments it’s probably best to message me thelanguagetutors@gmail.com if you’d like to chat about whether I have a class running at the moment or to ask any other questions that you may have.
The classes will be held via zoom so you will need to have the app downloaded before beginning classes and of course you’ll need access to the internet. But other than that, a notebook and pen and a desire to learn should be all you’ll need.
You will learn things like: the alphabet,Spanish greetings, a number of common Spanish verbs, body parts and numbers in Spanish, how to describe yourself and others, family, telling the time, how to say whether you like something or not, colours, adjectives and how to talk about activities and hobbies and more!
You can pay for your classes weekly at $22.50 per class if paying weekly or $20 per class or you can have a little discount if you choose to pay for 10 classes in advance (total cost $200). This includes membership in a private Facebook group where you can share your progress, I can answer your questions and give you extra help, you can encourage and be encouraged by other students and where I can share extra resources to help you on your learning journey.
