Tu nueva conocida, Merche quiso agradarte llevándote a un café.
Your new acquaintance, Merche meant well by taking you out to a café.

Pero antes de que compres nada, más vale que entiendas los precios.
Before you buy anything though, you’d better understand what the prices are.
Un euro, dos euros, tres euros.
‘Un euro’ is one euro, ‘dos euros’ are two euros, ‘tres euros’, three euros.

Observa cómo en español se dice ‘eu-ro’, no ‘yuro’.
Notice how in Spanish you say ‘eu-ro’, not ‘yuro’.

Si una palabra termina en vocal, ‘billete’ para el plural añades una ‘-s’, igual que en inglés.
If a word ends in a vowel, like ‘billete’ for the plural you add an ‘-s’, the same as in English.
Entonces, si ‘one euro’ es un euro, ‘ten euros’ son diez euros.
So, if one euro is ‘un euro’, ten euros are ‘diez euros’.
