Flashcards BEC Linking Words and Phrases – Cohesion Set 1

Skillful use of linking words and phrases will help your speech and writing to flow and to have cohesion making your English easy to follow.  The following set of flashcards contain words and phrases that will help you to achieve this goal if used properly.

Although these words and phrases are categorised into groups they are not always synonymous and you will best get a feel for how to use each one by firstly becoming familiar with the words themselves, and then being alert to see how they are used in articles, reports or books that you read.
