Days, Months and Seasons in Te Reo Māori

Practice how many days, months and seasons you know in te reo Māori with these flashcards.

This flashcard plugin won’t allow for macrons so I’ve used the old way of doubling the vowel instead to signal that you need to hold it longer when saying the word.

There are other words for the seasons etc but I have used those that seem most commonly used.

Also, it’s important to remember that the traditional lunar months don’t coincide exactly with the months on the Gregorian calendar so they are really just approximations, eg. Ākuhata isn’t exactly the same as August.
